Labor consumes about 50% of the construction process cost and can move slowly with inherent people-based physical constraints.  Many traditional materials that don’t adapt well to varying structural and environmental factors frequently requiring significant rework and on-the-fly customization.

Genesis Dimensions is interrupting the construction process with large scale 3D printing technologies. Whether for constructing buildings or creating precasting molds, due to our proprietary software and robotics suite, clients are able to transform a CAD model into a usable form/structure.

Long Reach

We will develop a large-scale 3D printer and appropriate materials to print structures up to 30 m (100 ft) high.

Adjustable Density

We are designing our proprietary print head to adjust print material density on-the-fly from, e.g., 32 kg/m³ (2 lb/ft³) up to 1281 kg/m³ (80 lb/ft³) density.

Mobile Platform

Our print crawler will be designed to be mobile, operating on tracks with an extendable robotic arm to reach, all with 1 mm (0.039 in) expected accuracy.

Instead of relying on imperfect humans, the project manager has a strong improved view on predictability and construction job delivery – due to a robotic machine performing the task at hand.

Easy Customization

Machines accurately operate on any axis, linear or non-linear and thus print curved (not just straight) lines, too. As a result, architects can let their imagination run free.

Lasting Structures

The life expectancy of a building will be much longer with a lot less upkeep compared to stick framed buildings. The structure will be much more resilient to natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, fires & insects.

Fewer Materials

By utilizing our construction process, less building materials are required and thus far less waste is generated, which plays a significant role in lowering landfill deposits.

Cut Energy Consumption

Due to superior insulated materials, airtight walls, less logistics, less remedial cleanup and faster construction times the overall energy consumption drops significantly.
